Love at first sight..

 ..oh yes, the second I laid my eyes on these beauties I knew they had to be mine! They have the shiny detail I was looking for on sandals, the small heel I am obsessed with lately and no platform! Simple and delicate. Can't wait for Summer to be able to wear them!

Before the sunset

 

 I couldn't get enough of that skirt the day I took these photos. I went from the scorching heat of noon to the wonderful chill of evening in that silk skirt and felt like I was walking through clouds! Such a great feeling, so soft and look at the print, I only took a glimpse at it and thought " this has to be mine!".

I have to pack again, I have to go back to Cluj tomorrow. Oh, it's been such a wonderful and full week of relaxation and fun! And what awaits me in the future isn't at all that fun and not to mention relaxing..

New Wonders for Spring

I ordered most of these beauties from online vintage shops as gifts for my birthday but I received them only this week and boy, was I thrilled! 

The bag is thrifted from a second hand shop in my local town and the shoes were on sales! Oh and I saw some cute flats and sandals and I can't wait to order them, but first money is needed. And I am sure by the time I have them, they will be sold out.. 

Anyway, I can't wait to wear all these wonderful floral printed skirts and that gorgeous dress - it looks much more beautiful on a body.

Regarding mini mini mini skirts..

 

 Recently I've been wandering the streets and caffes with my old friends whom I see so rarely, attending barbecues, buying gifts for myself and my mother - it's her birthday today - and just enjoying my days before the horrors of unfinished projects and upcoming exams begin. 

I have to say (again) that I love my haircut so much, I feel like dressing up retro all the time, especially in pretty 1950's dresses which are so rarely to find! Speaking of which, I really don't understand why brands make beautiful circle skirts or dresses with that amazing volume but so short you have to be careful how you sit, how you turn, how you lean because, hello, you underwear is showing! I get it that it's sexy and whatever to show off your legs, but seriously, sometimes it's just ridiculous. I am an owner of mini skirts and dresses, but to be honest I am not very comfortable in them, except when I see myself in photos. Because if one thing looks good, it doesn't mean it can also make you feel good. It's the same case here, for this outfit as well. Now I am searching like crazy for vintage midi dresses, but they are so expensive, if they are the real thing or I could try to make them but again, finding a suitable fabric is hard. 

Anyway, I think it's fun to have a new obsession, fashion wise, of course!

Well I wonder..

..I constantly wonder how nature amazes me with the beauty of flowers, rocks, rivers, birds and did I mention flowers? I can never get enough of their colors and their scent and their structure. I wish Spring could last forever! that's is no good, I will still be dreaming of Autumn's colors and its fresh cold evenings. 

I was here reunited with my whole family celebrating Easter, and lucky for me I got to take photos in my aunt's almost spooky garden, and you know me..the mysterious places, the better photos!

Time for a change

 

 So, I cut my hair! Yes, I wanted a change for some time now and to be honest, I was a bit anxious whether this haircut would suit me or not. After I saw myself I realized how thick my hair is and I never imagined I would have such volume! Anyway, looking in the mirror constantly smiling like a Cheshire cat, I realized how much I resemble with Megan Draper from "Mad Men". In a subconscious way I made my decision based on her look. Now I feel much more retro and cool.
